This serene water painting is an Oil painting done on a canvas panel. The size is 24 by 30 and can be purchased for only $400.00. As it’s on a panel it can easily be mailed directly to your home ( continental US) for $5.50 USD.

This painting is part of my ” Tribute to Monet” series, it’s slightly more grayed down than many of my usual more colorful water paintings. I think the warm yellows are set off very nicely by the grayed down blue of the water.

This little painting is an odd size at 7.75 inches. I will sell this piece at a discount since there may be a bit of a problem framing it.

monet 11 Another beautiful small 6 by 8 inch painting. It’s part of my series ” tribute to Monet” these paintings are all water paintings and they have all been very different. Some are very realistic, many are impressionistic and this one is leaning towards abstraction. Ya never know what I’ll paint, so plan to come back and see what’s up for tomorrow. $75.00 oil on canvas.

This Watercolor is 4 by 4, (inches ) A watercolor on gessoboard & is for sale for $30.00 Plus S& H.
I painted this in the deductive manner. That means: I painted it before it dried i used my brush to pulled out the objects from the wet paint. Then I allowed it to dry and later filled in the objects with paint. In this case the lighter color of yellow green.

Acrylic on  gallery wrap canvas $300.  This is another painting from the “Monet’s tribute” series…  This piece is a bit larger  than my other pieces in the series.  I also  used a different palette.  I like it, it has a bit of gold mixed into the paint which gives it a special glow.  This was painted with the new Golden Acrylics which look and work very much like oils.  These new  Open acrylics are great and if your considering trying them I encourage you to do so.   The process is very much the same as regular acrylics but there is a special medium which extends the already long drying time.  Also there is a thinner which you can use to actually remove the paint from the canvas.  The real key is to never use water.  Water only makes these acrylics look dull.  The mediums makes them glow.
